Coronavirus and staying in the Netherlands after graduation
17-08-2020The coronavirus has caused a decline in vacancies and networking opportunity for international graduates. So these graduates started a petition to extend the search year. Minister Koolmees for Social Affairs couldn't give them exactly what they asked for, but did make an important concession.
July last month before smoke-free campus
30-06-2020This is the last month that smoking is allowed on the HAN campuses in Arnhem and Nijmegen. Smoking will no longer be permitted starting 1 August 2020. The HAN campus will then be a non-smoking area and youll only be allowed to smoke off campus.
Rob Verhofstad new chair of Executive Board
30-06-2020Rob Verhofstad has been appointed chair of the Executive Board by the HAN Supervisory Board. He will start on 1 October, and if possible already in September.
