Week full of activities
AEA Event week
During the last week of January (from 27 to 31 January 2025), there are no classes for the School of Engineering and Automotive (AEA) students. These are filled in with the special AEA Event Week and is packed with activities by and for students. Hence the name: Event Week!

You will participate in your own project and you can also go and see other students. What can you expect?
Monday 27 january 2025
- Whole day: Company excursions for 1st-year students. Through these company excursions, students get an idea of their future field of work and can gain some experience in professional practice through a workshop/tour. The 1st-year students will receive an e-mail (soon) with instructions on how to register for an excursion.
- 09.30 - 10.30 hrs: S3 Event with presentation projects; location canteen R31
- 11.00 - 13.00 hrs: S4 Meet & Greet; location canteen R31 (ESE, EEE, IDE, ME)
- 14.00 - 16.00 hrs: S6 Meet & Greet; location canteen R31 (AUM, ESE, EEE, IDE, ME)
- 18.00 - 19.00 hrs: Parents' evening 1st-year Automotive course (Dutch-language, online)
Tuesday 28 january 2025
- time not yet known: On excursion to Moba with study association Amoras
- 18.00 - 19.00 hrs: Parents' evening 1st-year Automotive Engineering course (in English, online)
Wednesday 29 january 2025
- 13:00 - 16:30 hrs: Symposium Health Concept Lab (HCL) with interesting keynote speakers and presentations of innovative healthcare technology concepts
- 19.00 - 21.00 hrs: Parents' evening for 1st-year Engineering students at R26 and R29 (walk-in from 18.30)
Thursday 30 january 2025
- 09.00 - 15.00 hrs: Final presentation of wind turbine project by 1st-year ME
- 09.00 - 13.00 hrs: Hydrogen (H2) Event on R29 in H3.12, H3.24 and H3.04 (ABC)
- 12.30 - 13.30 hrs: TBK Day
- 13.00 - 19.00 hrs: Tech Day with various workshops and lectures by partner companies; organised by study association Amoras.
- 13.30 - 18.00 hrs: HAN Lean Event on R26

09.00 - 16.00 hrs: ESE Day at Connectr (IPKW)
