The School of Allied Health contributes to a healthy region; a region where people can participate in their communities and lead productive and meaningful lives. We do this together with the professional field of allied healthcare, with partners in the public sector and with the business community.
How you make a healthier difference
Health Professionals in International Perspective (HIP) covers all kinds of health-related topics. You learn about food and culture around the world. And how they affect the health profession. But you also go in depth about international health. About your professional identity. And how you use social media and trending health topics. In short, you become more of a global citizen.

The Netherlands has a large population of international students so you won’t feel alone. In fact, 1 in 10 students is an international student. Why? Because the Netherlands has excellent, affordable higher education. It also has a thriving economy (18th in the world) so there are plenty of job opportunities. What’s more, the Dutch are open-minded and almost everyone speaks English.

The lovely university town of Nijmegen has a great atmosphere. Just wander through its beautiful old streets and you feel its rich history.
