Working as a student

You can, but there are some things to keep in mind. The rules on working depend on your nationality. More specifically whether you're a citizen of the EU/EEA or not. All international students working in the Netherlands must have Dutch public health insurance to get a work permit.

HAN Scholarships

You can cover parts of your expenses through our HAN scholarships. Are you from a country outside the EU/EEA? And did you decide to enroll in a bachelor or master degree at HAN University of Applied Sciences? Then you may qualify for a HAN scholarship. They're offered in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
