Code of conduct for international students

HAN follows the Code of conduct for international students. This code explains how an institution should deal with international students and the education and services it should offer them. 

The code is an initiative of higher education institutions and the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. It is an additional provision for international students, next to the existing legal statutes.

Student charter

The Student charter describes what you, as a student, can expect from HAN and what HAN expects from you in return.

Note that if you wish to exercise a right (such as an objection or appeal procedure), only the Dutch version of the Student charter is legally binding.

Complaints and disputes office

Do you have a complaint about a HAN staff member? Do you disagree with an assessment or assignment? The Complaints and Disputes Office ensures that complaints and appeals are delivered to the right people within the HAN organization.
