HAN participating in National Student Survey again
The National Student Survey (NSE) is conducted once a year. Almost all students in Dutch higher education take part. In the survey, students give their opinion about their degree program at a university or university of applied sciences.
Inform prospective students and improve education
This year HAN will once again participate in the NSE. The 2024 edition will take place between 15 January and 10 March 2024. We use the results to inform prospective students, so they can easily compare the degree programs they are interested in. We also use the ratings to improve the quality of our education.
The survey covers many different aspects of degree programs, such as:
- content, skills learned and preparation for professional careers;
- lecturers, information provided by the degree program, examination and assessment;
- study facilities, timetables, study load and study support.
All bachelor and master students will receive an email invitation to participate in the survey.
Student opinions matter
Every year, the Keuzegids HBO and the weekly magazine Elsevier publish rankings of degree programs at universities and universities of applied sciences. The opinions of students via the NSE are an important factor in these rankings.
