With your communications degree, you can get a job in the marketing or communication department of a large company. You could also work for government. For example, at a city council or a ministry. Other options are publishing houses, public relations companies, advertising agencies, media agencies and corporate communication bureaus. Here are some communication degree jobs you could apply for:

  • (Junior) Marketing Communication Manager

    As a marketing communication manager, you manage marketing campaigns and other communication projects. You strategically combine a variety of channels. Online and offline. A common theme in your job is building relationships in order to reach common business goals. With staff, management and external clients.

  • Public Relations Specialist

    As a public relations manager, you develop the communications strategy. Your aim? To build relationships with stakeholders. To have a consistent brand. To get positive media attention. And when the company is having a hard time? It’s jour job to prepare the media response. You also support the internal marketing.

  • International brand manager

    As an international brand manager, you are the driving force behind the success of any brand or product. You develop, plan and implement marketing activities. Your aim? To increase the value of your company’s brands.

  • International advertising account manager

    As an international advertising account manager, you develop complete advertising programs. For either products or services. You start with the strategy, move on to a creative concept and then you choose and manage the media outlets.

The next step after graduating

You now have your Bachelor of Arts in Communication. What’s the next step? Companies and organizations of all types and sizes need communication specialists. And 95% of our graduates get a job within 1 year. HAN’s alumni network is also a great place to connect with international companies. A master in communication?

Do you enjoy studying? Are you ambitious? Want to start your career in a higher position? With your bachelor degree you can enroll in a master in communication or marketing. Here are some options:
