Program
The part-time Cyber-Physical Systems master program is modular. Each module is based on the latest insights and developments in the field. You dive into real industry issues. And put your new knowledge and skills directly into practice at your own workplace.
The modules
In the Cyber-Physical Systems track you take 2 general modules: Applied Control & Systems Modeling. They're compulsory for all tracks of the Master in Engineering Systems. So you'll be joining students from the other tracks. You also choose 2 elective modules from: Big Data & Small Data, Advanced Vehicle Dynamics and Embedded Systems.
Major project
The final step of the Cyber-Physical Systems program is your major project. Here you investigate an embedded systems issue at your own workplace. Demonstrate your technical knowledge and skills as well as your communication, reporting and presenting skills. You need to find a graduation project with an appropriate level and topic at a company or institution of your choice, and you will receive support from both a HAN staff member and a supervisor from the company or institution.

Applied research
An important aspect of this master track is applied research. You get to work with classmates and staff on innovative research projects through the HAN Research Center for Cyber-Physical Systems. The Center works together with industry partners on various themes. For example, self-driving (autonomous) cars. Join students from the Automotive Systems track and develop smart vehicles together!
