What do you learn?
In the first 2 years of this joint degree, you'll study at HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. The focus? Learning how to do research in a lab. But you don’t just train to become a scientist. You also work on project management and communication skills. After all, getting results is a team effort.
In year 3 and 4, you'll study at the University of Dundee. You will be following several advanced theory modules from the Biological and Biomedical Sciences courses. The lecturers are often researchers from within the excellent research departments at the University of Dundee.
What can you do with a Molecular Biosciences degree with Honours?
With a molecular biosciences degree with Honours from HAN and University of Dundee, you are an independent lab researcher. What’s more, you’re qualified to work in different scientific settings. So, fundamental research, applied research or quality control. The focus of the course, especially in Dundee, is on drug development, but you are trained to also thrive within other fields of (Molecular) Biosciences. Your international degree and experience will make you highly attractive for countless companies and organizations, both within and outside of the EU.

The city of Dundee
Dundee is a buzzing student city. It's home to two universities: the University of Dundee and Abertay University, both accounting for about 13,000 undergraduate students!
